As a follow up to my previous post; my DH and I heard a name that we really like, but are unsure how to spell it. It sounds like Tall-ya, and we are trying to figure out the most appropriate way to spell it. We like the MN Karine to honor my DH's sister that passed away at 16, and think it goes well with it, but I just can't figure out how to spell it.....thoughts? Talia? Tallia? Taleah? I just don't have a clue and don't want to be in the unineek category with the spelling!
Re: Need help with a spelling
I have seen Talia and Thalia, the second being the ancient Greek name and the muse of comedy and poetry. Cute!

Definitely not Taleah.
If I saw this, I would think the parents were going to name her Talia, but wanted to make SURE it wasn't pronounced TAL-ya. So I would over emphasise it, like ta-LEE-uh.
