Cloth Diapering

How do you store or use your cloth wipes?

I am just finally starting to exclusively use the cloth wipes.  While I have used them now and again previously, I would just spray the wipe or DS butt right before I wiped him, I am now looking for a more efficient way.  I am hoping to keep some pre-wetted cloths by the changing table, just trying to figure out the best way to do that.

I have a wipes warmer from when he was born, but its not the cloth one, it's the ultimate wipes warmer from prince lionheart.  Would this still work with cloth?  Or how do you all store your wipes?

  • I keep mine in a wipe warmer. I don't have the cloth one either.

  • I used to use a normal non cloth wipes warmer.  I found it didn't hold enough so Now I store them in a basket on the changing table and use an old squirt bottle to wet them.

  • We use an old wipes container- I just put 8-10 wipes in the container with the wipes solution and use those.  I find that putting fewer wipes in the container works better b/c they stay warm if I use hot water.  By the time I go through all of them they're starting to get cold.  DS screams when we use cold wipes.
  • Thank you all!  I am going to try my wipe warmer, after I get more pads for it.  If not, I'll prob just use an old wipe container...why didn't I think of that??!

The squirt bottle just isn't cutting it now...he doesn't stay still long enough and then we are just wrestling each other, lol, sometimes I'm just too tired for that ; )

  • I use the lionheart warmer. I use a couple drops diaper potion lotion in water and put the wipes in it then wring most of the water out. The wipes are folded in half short wise and then I roll them. I get about 30 in the warmer this way. They don't pull out of the slot on the top.

  • We don't use the changing table anymore because he's all over the place and he can almost touch the bottom.  But, we keep them in an old wipes container and I just squirt them when wet with water.  I also use CA baby diaper area spray too.
