Introduction :(

Hi all.  Absolutely hate having to find myself here, but nature didn't give me a choice.  I suspected I was pregnant for a week and a half or so and took a test this past Sat., which was faintly positive.  Continued taking tests, but they never got any darker and went in for bloodwork on Tuesday.  Had a beta of 50 which I knew wasn't good, considering that I was supposed to be 5 or 6 weeks pregnant.  I had betas drawn again yesterday, but the bleeding has started so I know there's really no question now.  Such a heartbreak.  I lived in terror of this with my first pregnancy, and now that it has come true with my second, I really don't know how I'm ever going to face another one one day.

I'm so sorry for your loss.  I was like you for my first (uneventful) pregnancy too - totally petrified.  Now I've been through two subsequent losses.  I'm not sure how to face the next one either, but I trust with time (and maybe a little counseling!) I'll get through.  Best wishes to you.

I'm so sorry you have to be joining us.  I went through my second mc about a month ago so I understand what you're going through.  Some days will be better than others and you can only face them one at a time. ((hugs))
