DH is a fool

He is doing a polar bear dive on Sunday, with the rest of the volunteer fire fighters.  They raise money for charity, but it's more of an excuse for everyone to get drunk and jump into an ice cold lake.  He's pretty much useless the whole day.

DH rarely goes out with the guys, but I would really like him to sit this one out.  We have so many projects to get done and our weekends are filling up quickly.

I couldn't care less when DH goes out with the guys. But that particular activity would annoy me, getting drunk and jumping in an ice cold lake? Yea, not feeling it.

I don't see the big deal...if it's something fun he likes to do (and raises money for a charity which is a plus!) than what is the harm...everyone is way too busy this time of year...I only do the bare minimum and then I have fun and just enjoy the holidays!
