Update for Kentucky!

Hello, ladies. Our little board is so quiet... so I thought I would give you gals my update and see if it might inspire more posts. Wink

I'm less than two weeks away from my due date... (Dec. 16th -- 13 days to go!)

At my 38 week appointment on Wednesday I found out I am 1 cm dialated and 60% effaced. I've had BH contractions but nothing regular or "time-able" or with increasing frequency...

I am trying not to be impatient, but I am already SO ready to meet my little girl! DH wants me to wait until Dec. 17th to have her so that he'll still be off work on NYE for the Louisville/ Kentucky basketball game. God love him.

How is everyone progressing?

Re: Update for Kentucky!

  • Your husband cracks me up.  :D  You're really coming up on the end pretty quickly; that's fantastic!

I'm at 22 weeks today, and the Munchkin is celebrating or something -- he's been super-active ever since I woke up this morning.  I think he kicked the cat in the head for daring to invade his space in bed this morning, and he was definitely showing off for dad when DH rolled over and put his hand on my stomach.

We were supposed to have a doctor's appointment on Thursday, but I got into my head that it was on Friday, so we totally missed it.  *facepalm*

Oh, and I guess I'm serving as the local board's airport security screening guinea pig -- I fly out of Nashville for a business trip tomorrow, so I'll let y'all know how the screening goes in case someone else has to fly pregnant.

Good luck to you stella since you are so close.
  • Wow, StellaBella! I can't believe it's almost that time for you! Congratulations, and I hope your BH's get regulated real soon!

Dixiebell, eat some eggs the night before the test and try to get your protein level up to see if that helps. Best of luck to you! GD is no fun, from what I hear!

  • papa bear glad to see ya..

  • Sorry to hear about the glucose test, Dixiebell.  :(  I've got the one hour test at my next appointment; that darned bottle of orange drink stuff is sitting in my office fridge, mocking me, as we speak.
