What size diaper pail?

I'm planning on buying a garbage pail and pail liner this weekend, but I have no idea what size to get.  We'd like to go about 2 days between washing - what size can would you recommend?

Also, do you think it's overkill to have two cans - one for her nursery and one for the bathroom where our sprayer is?  If we have two, what size(s) for those?

I got an 11 gallon white step trash can from Target for the nursery.  My Planet Wise pail liners fit perfectly with it.  

For the bathroom, I'm planning to get a large hanging wetbag, and hang it from the door knob.
