I love it...it's classic and no one uses it anymore. If my LO is a girl, she will be named Mary Naomi!

I like it if it is used in a double name. I had a college professor whose name was Mary James and I thought that was sooo unique and different.

Hate the meaning. Love the name and it's not boring imo. It reminds me of the cute little girl from Three Men & a Lady (? is that the title lol)...

I like it as a double name too. Mary Catherine and Mary Louise are fairly timeless.

Its actually my late grandmothers name and she meant the world to me. So if this LO is a DD I think were settled on Mary.

Classic and underappreciated - it doesn't even rank in the top 1000, and hasn't since 1972. It's easy to say, easy to spell, and is recognizable.

It's time for Mary to come back. There's this really cute commercial where a little girl named, Mary decided what color she's going to wear that day and after I watched it for the first time, I thought - that's a perfect name for a little girl who doesn't want to get pigeon-holed into a category. Plus, we've done Marie, Maria, Mariah, Maryann etc. Time to let this little name shine again I think.
