spotting colors?

You can yell at me if this has been answered previously. I did a search and didn't get an easy result...

I understand everyone is different, and my chart is wayy off because -although I've been TTC for a while- I haven't been consistent and it's my first chart, but I thought I'd ask. I'm supposedly due for AF on Tuesday, although I marked a new cycle because I thought I started yesterday. However, it has turned to all brown spotting, if anything.

Any thoughts? Again, if there's no response, that's fine..thought I'd try you all out...

IMO, CD 1 is the first day of full-on red flow.

You shouldn't mark CD 1 until you get true red flow, according to Fertility Friend. I also had several days of brown spotting this last cycle before my period arrived, so I would wait to mark CD 1 until then.

Did you just come off birth control? If so, it can take some time for your period to get back to normal...

I've had this before, I would suggest just waiting it out a few more days your AF will probably show soon. They say not to mark CD1 until first day of red flow, so change that on your chart when/if it comes.

I will have to go back and change things...but apparently I thought it was the start. I've actually been off BC for almost a year now, so my cycles have been funky. They've only been abnormal (starting early and/or late) for the past three months or so though.

I had the same thing a few days ago. Spotting heavy enough that I thought it could be CD1. I would think it's still just spotting if it went right back to that, but you'll just have to wait and see, unfortunately. GL
