doing Christmas cards

might possibly be *the* most stressful holiday task for me.  Getting a decent picture of the two most uncooperative children on the planet, finding the perfect design, yada yada yada.  All so people can say "oh, that's nice" and then toss them. 

and yet I'm still going to do them (and agonize over them)

I couldn't bother with christmas pictures this year..  I just used some that I liked from throughout the year.

I stressed about it too, and finally just decided to pay a bit more than I wanted to at least feel satisfied it was worth the time and energy I spent trying to get pictures, pick out a design, etc.  Now I just have to pay for postage (extra of course, since I picked a square card - awesome!).

MH has no idea why I've been so freakin' irritable these past two weeks.  Taking the photos myself for the first time ever, ordering the cards and proofing them and then getting my address list updated and sitting down and stuffing the envelopes and mailing them all yesterday just about drove me INsane!  But now I'm glad it's done!
