I had cut back to just 1 cup of coffee every morning but as I am making my way through "What to Expect when You're Expecting" I read that it's safe to have 200mg of caffiene a day which means I can add on a coke in the afternoon. Yay!!
What is everyone else drinking?

Re: How much caffiene are you drinking?
I had half a coke last week.
Thankfully, I'm not a huge coffee or soda drinker, so it wasn't that hard for me to give up. But, I've heard that 200mg/day is a-OK.

I know we're able to have a small amount of caffeine, however I dont have any myself.
I drink decaf green tea everyday. And even prior to getting pregnant, I never drank soda or anything like that. Tea, or water. Juice when I want to get fancy. LMAO

With DS I drank one cup of coffee in the morning, mixed 50/50 decaf with regular. Once I began to feel DS move, around 22w, I couldn't handle how connected his first movements of the day were with my cup of coffee. From there I cut out all caffeine.
I honestly can't stomach coffee right now anyways with my m/s, so it's no real loss. I may take up the 50/50 one cup after the first tri until I can feel the LO move again, but I'll decide later.
I've been having a cup of either decaf or half-caf in the morning, and sometimes a cup of caffienated tea in the evening (i'll be switching to decaf tea once i run out).
I know theres no caffiene, but I've also been having a glass of ginger ale every date to settle my tummy.

A lot less that I'm used to
I had cut my daily mocha to half-caf, then completely down to decaf. I haven't really changed much else though. I so rarely drink soda I don't even think about it if I have one now (I can only think of one soda I've had since I'm preg).
The lack of espresso makes me sad, though
I've been drinking this too. I haven't really had m/s but just some icky tummy feelings. It really helps!

I weaned myself off coffee several months ago. So far this pregnancy I've had a half cup of coffee twice b/c I had a headache. I've also had hot chocolate twice.
I just decided to cut out caffeine since I don't "need" it.
I can't stand the taste of coffee or tea, so I am the soda QUEEN!!! It used to be a Blue Rockstar in the morning, and a pepsi in the afternoon and depending on the mood another pepsi at dinner.
Now I allow myself 1 can at lunch everyother day.
I drink 1 cup of coffee in the morning, i was a HUGE caffine addict so its been tough cause i also drank alot of diet coke. I also just quit smoking so the coffee is abit of a saviour for me but i think after xmas i will cut it out and switch to decaf
I've cut out the deit coke so i still get my coffee. Though i am careful, if i buy a coffee at starbucks i get a decaf americano but at work i drink 1 cup of coffee since its from a different company and has less caffine in it. i was shocked that starbucks in particular has the highest levels of caffine!
Not much. I have coffee everyday though. I've always had decaf and no more than 2 cups. It's nothing new and not a result of being pregnant, and at work I do end up with the full caf stuff once in awhile. I dont' sweat it.
I never got into soda so it's a non issue. For real I think I drink a can a year that isn't with booze.
My dr. said 200 mg was fine as well.
I'm not drinking any. I don't drink sodas anyway so I don't have a problem there. I do like an occasional cup of coffee in the morning or when it's really cold out but I'm just giving it up all together. It's not a big deal to me so I'd rather just play it safe and give it all up.

I normally drink 1 cup to 1.5 cups a day, but had to cut cold turkey thanks to MS. I don't think being exhausted is helping my m/s situation.
For the record I never drank coffee until DD came. Then I learned that I needed it :-)
