Any advice? She mainly does it to be silly, not to be mean, but regardless, I don't want her doing it! Especially since her DC has a 3 bite and you're gone policy (and I LOVE her daycare)!
Sorry, I know there have been a million posts on it, but I never read them b/c she never showed any signs of biting before.

If she's mad about something, she gives a warning (most of the time) by saying "HEY!" and grabs your hand really hard.. then comes the biting if you're not fast enough to stop it..
So far I have just been saying firmly "No! We do nice-nice only." And then show a gentle way to touch people, and praise her with hugs and kisses when she does it back. It seems to be helping because when I notice the attitude coming on, I say "No!" and she backs down. She is definitely still pretty fresh though. :P
OK, just re-read the policy for DD's school...if they bite within 3 times on the same day, they are sent home for that day. If it becomes a problem where the child is biting a lot and shows no signs of improving, they are asked to leave indefinitely.
It was her old school that had the 3 bites and you're out policy.
