I like all cookies so I'll give you a list of the cookies that I'm making :-) Cutouts, choc chip, rice krispie, M & M, peanut butter, date filled (mom's request), raisen drop cookies, raisen filled, and whoopie pies.
My favorite Xmas cookies are the holly wreaths (basically rice crispie treats with cornflakes instead of rice crispies), anything with coconut (bonus if it's chocolate covered coconut), Tiger Cookies (which have frosted flakes in them) and (a recent favorite) peanut butter cookies w/ the chocolate kiss on top.
I don't know if they count as cookies, but if they do, I take out the last two I mentioned and put in lemon bars and apricot balls. Mmmmm...

I didn't know what this was until I moved to PA near the Amish. They are always selling them at the farmers market. I have seen them but never ate one.
I think thats a regional name and I can't remember what other names I've heard but they're basically a big soft chocolate cookie sandwhich with sweet vanilla icing like filling. They're probably my #1 favorite. Although I don't know if would classify them as a cookie.
German finger snitchens (sp?) Italian wedding cookies Sugar cookies Peanutbutter cookies Oatmeal raisen cookies Stainned glass cookies Chocolate ship cookies No bake cookies Butterscotch sour cream cookies M&M cookies White choclate macadamia (sp?) nut cookies
I know I'm missing a few...
