Nail biting?

Kennedy has somehow started biting her nails. Sometimes she'll do it for several minutes. Sometimes not. I don't know if it's a nervous thing or just something new for a toddler to do. Anyone else's child bites their nails? I'm not sure where she got it from since neither DH or I bite our nails. Any suggestions on how to get her to stop?

I just noticed that Allie is doing this now too!  I was cutting her nails last night and she was biting on one while I cut the other hand and noticed she had little quicks on the side of her nails from biting them.  I am also interested in how to get her to stop!

I know that I have heard of people putting on something to keep the child from sucking their thumb called Thum, or this Mevala Stop. I think it like a bitter tasting nail polish...
