New to CD - Diaper rash cream ?

Hi ladies,

I am relatively new to CDing and have what may be silly question about diaper rash cream.   Do you have to add a liner when using CD safe diaper rash cream?  If it matters, I use California Baby rash cream and Flip Stay-dry inserts. 

Thanks in advance for your advice.  You ladies are a great source of information!!

    I usually use a liner even if its "CD safe" so I can really slather it on. Recently I didn't use one when DD had a rash... I used CA Baby and it left some white spots on my dipes after the wash. :( I think they'll come out in another wash or so, but I may have to scrub them.  

    I don't use liners with ones that are less goopy like Bum Bum Balm but for CA Baby or anything, I recommend you do. Fleece liners also give an extra stay-dry layer which can help irritated bums anyway. HTH!

    We used CA Baby and I found that it did leave marks on my diapers- although it's suppose to be CD safe.  We use CJ's BUTTer and don't use any liners.

    *sigh* Happened to me too. Did yours come out or did the marks stay permanent?

    I've heard great things about CJ's BUTTer.  Off to order some from Nicki's Diapers...I hate paying shipping so I guess I'll just have to order couple BB diapers, inserts, etc to reach the $75 free shipping limit.  Big Smile  Thanks!!
