Induction Scheduled for Today

Hi Ladies! Haven't been posting much lately but I have been reading posts as much as I can. My DH went back in the hospital earlier this week which was scary, but now he's out again. We were scheduled for induction earlier this morning but the hospital called to say we've been pushed back to late this afternoon some time due to no beds being available. I was already nervous, now I am even more nervous! So now it's just a waiting game and it's only 9 am here. We can't wait to meet our little girl!!

Hey girl- hope things have been going okay for you and that your DH is doing alright. I know you are so excited about this baby- they do wonders for the soul!! : )) Good luck on your induction- keep us updated!!!

Thanks ladies! He had a blood clot in his leg which is what lead to this hospitalization. He was able to tolerate medication, which means he doesn't need surgery. However, we are currently fighting with insurance to cover the medication long term that he needs to break up this clot and prevent further ones so he can continue his chemotherapy treatments. So frustrating, but at least for now he's home and has the medicine for the next 4 days. So much going on, but that's our lives. With at least the next few days in place we are ready to focus on our little girl now. I pray the insurance approves the medication and he gets to be with us instead of back in the hospital. Please keep us in your thoughts and prayers!
