Hey Brenda, long time, many years, no talk! I'm just wondering where you live at in Elkhart, you're probably super close to me. I'm surprised we've never run into each other at Target or something. I live on the north side of Goshen now, close to CR17.
And your daughter is so adorable! I can't believe all the people from back on the knot are having babies now. It seems like so long ago. I've always been a lurker on here, I just never really have posted much:)
Re: BrendaK
My in-laws live in Elkhart :-) (well and all of DH's family)
They live right by the In/MI border off of SR19 I think
Oh, that's not too far from me either!
I'll ask my husband if he knows about Dutchman Outdoors. He used to hunt all the time but he lost his spot where he used to go, so he hasn't gone in about 2 years. He actually just sold his bow on craigslist.
Hi!
Your daughter is also adorable! Do you guys know what you're having this time?
I live off of Johnson Street (near the big dam) - near downtown Elkhart (like, close to the Elkhart Hacienda if you ever go there).
I'm also surprised that we've never run into each other - I'm in the Dunlap area ALL THE TIME.
I take CR17 part of the way to work - it's the most direct route from my daughter's daycare to my work. :-)
We're having another girl this time. I'm not really that familiar with Elkhart, but I know some areas, like where Olive Garden is ha ha. I can't even believe we never see each other. My work is right by Target so I'm around there all the time. Where do you work at? I work at Interra Credit Union, not the one on 17 but on 33 by Peddlers Village.
Yay for another girl! We're also having another girl in March!
Yeah, Elkhart's sort-of crazy to get around. I don't even know it that well, and I've lived here for 8 years. I know South Bend and Mishawaka sooo much better.
I work out in Wakarusa, but I go out to 33 all the time for lunch - quick trips to Kohls, Target, Once Upon a Child - much better than what Wakarusa has to offer!!
