TTC after 35

Something is wrong

I was bleeding last night this morning its brown spotting. Very little cramping and when I do cramp it Is hardly noticeable. I'm praying that its just the smaller of the 3 that I'm losing but my symptoms are lessening more and more so I'm not hopeful. I have an appt at one. I can't believe my body is doing this to me again. It's like a cruel joke.

Re: Something is wrong

  • Oh chicken...hang in there mama...if there's one thing that I've noticed on these boards, is that some bleeding/spotting is OK and you could still have a healthy pregnancy.  Don't lose hope!

  • Oh no, yes hang in there hun, you and all of us have read so many posts on spotting, its very normal, i hear them say drink lots of water and rest!!!!  Call your doc if you want, dont be afraid to, they may get you in for a scan and then you can see that all 3 are doing just fine ((((hugs))))

    Your in my thoughts and prayers!!!!!

    Edit: I just read back on your post and seen you have apt at 1, i was too quick on wanting to reply to you i missed that!!!  Keep us undated hun ((((((hugs))))))

  • I'm so sorry - I know how scary this is.  I think it's a good sign that its brown this morning.  It's very possible it's the smallest baby the Dr was concerned about and the other two are fine.  Sending you big {{hugs}}. Please let us know what the Dr says.

  • ::big hugs::

    suspend all thinking until after your appointment - there is no point in conjecture until you see the doctor (If ever there was a good time for hard liquor or illicit drug use I think this might be it- except for the whole, healthy and pregnant part.)

  • Oh sweets, I hope at the worst its just the slowest 3.  I'll be thinking of you, please keep us updated.

  • I hope you get good news at the doctor's today and that the spotting is nothing. Hugs to you.

  • I'm sorry you are dealing with something so scary, but T&Ps everything is ok.  There are a lot of potential reasons for spotting.  If I calculate correctly you are almost 12 weeks?  You start to loose your symptoms as you approach 2nd tri so hopefully the spotting and symptom lessening are not related.  I also had period like cramps a lot during that time.  Very common as your uterus grows.
    I give up trying to get a ticker.  I have a DD that is 2.5 years old and is awesome.  Maybe I'll add a quote to distinguish myself.  Hmmm.  How about...

  • My thoughts are with you and hope for a bearable outcome.  I know that sounds odd, but what I meant was that if by some chance you were losing one it is just the one your dr. thought was behind and not your whole pg.  The more I type this I'm thinking I should just delete, but I hope you know what I mean.
