How did your first LO deal?

I am feeling guilty.  DD is a mama's girl and she loves to just hang around me all day long.  I am so worried about her reaction when my attention is directed at the new baby.  Luckily DH is home a lot but he does work, he is on 48 hour shifts, which I know will be hard.

How did your older LO handle the new LO?

My DD1 adores DS2 - she is absolutely smitten.  Sure, she is clingy with me or DH sometimes, but that's not a big deal.   And DS2 is getting to the stage where he is starting to scoot/roll and grab things - and I'm guessing she is not going to love that stage when he starts to take things from her...haha.

And honestly, you have 8-9 months until the new baby arrives, and you will be AMAZED at how much your LO1 will change in that period of time.  They grow so much and so fast.    You will all adapt, and you will be just fine

Thanks for the reassurance!  I know that DD will be a totally different baby when this baby comes

DD#1 was 19 months when DS arrived.  She LOVED him and wanted to be with him constantly.  As far as she remembers, he has just always been there so we had no real issues with her being jealous,etc.
