Belly button innie-to-outie pop

Second time moms, did any of you have an "innie" belly button that popped to an "outie" during pregnancy?  If so, how far along were you?

Mine is still an innie, but I feel like it has become more shallow than before and am wondering if it will pop out eventually.  It's such a silly thing to wonder about, I know, but humor me!

So it's not all in my head -- it really is getting more shallow!  Gives new meaning to the term navel-gazing... that's literally what I'm doing.

I'm only a first timer but I have definately noticed that it's not as deep as before! And I hardly have a bump or anything, lol

Oh gosh I hope will be me.  I know this is going to sound ridiculous and vain, but I really like my belly button the way it is!  I have had nightmares it turns grotesque looking.  ha

I think I heard that if it does go to an outtie, it will go back to an innie after the birth.  At least I'm hoping that's true if it happens to me!

I think I heard that if it does go to an outtie, it will go back to an innie after the birth.  At least I'm hoping that's true if it happens to me! 

True!  Mine popped out with DS, but shortly after birth, went back in.  Today, it's totally normal  (at least for the next few months).

Sorry, like everything about your pre-pg body, don't count on it ever being the same.  Although my belly button never popped, it certainly isn't like pre-pg

Like the rest of my lower belly, it's a little stretched out looking - definitely not the cute little circle it was before DS.  I was pretty lucky, the stretch marks that showed up after DS was born and the linea nigra have faded.  But that doesn't happen for everyone.

So funny to see this post!

Last night i was laying on the couch with MH watching some Harry Potter haha and i lifted up my shirt to show him my tummy and i was like holy crap when did that happen to my belly button. I had a very far innie and now i can see inside i had a mini panic attack lol

I have an innie that popped to an outie in the 3rd tri last time, but it went back in after   I also had that dark linea nigra line on my stomach, but it went away, too.

No problem   I panicked when I first realized what happened.  It didn't go away immediately after delivery, so don't be worried if it lingers.  My belly button went back in a few days later, but the line stuck around for a few months.

This is my first, but it has already flattened out a little. I have had several abdominal surgeries where they went in through my belly button, so it is kinda cool to see all the scars, that were "hidden" before.

I have a VERY deep innie and I can't believe how shallow it's gotten already!

I don't really even have a belly, but the button has shallowed big time.

Haha, this!!  I'm not counting on everything being exactly the same, but I will certainly hold out hope for a somewhat return to "normal"!

Hmm.  My extremely deep innie is still extremely deep.  Maybe that means I won't pop out?  I'm not as far along as most who have responded to this post so far, though.  Who knows?  What happens, happens.
