I made some wool dryer balls. I'm starting to feel like they do me no good
Do yours help with static at all? The static is horrible! I'm feeling a bit deflated...besides causing a lot of noise when I run the dryer I'm not sure what they do.
Static is frequently caused by over-drying and by synthetic fabrics. Have you tried ending the cycle sooner and separating out all synthetics?
My theory on dryer balls is that they keep the dryer contents more fluffed up so that air circulates better and there are not "wet pockets" where things get stuck together. I've also heard that tha natural lanolin in wool helps with static, but I do not know if that is true or not.
