We are for sure telling the immediate family.  Haven't decided about the rest of the family but figure we probably will.  DH has 3 siblings and I figure if they all tell "just one person" once we get to the big family Christmas the word will spread like wildfire anyway!

I am sucking at it so far.  I make up super lame reasons why I  "need" to tell someone.  I'm terrible!

Haha I know what you mean!! I am actually excited to let my bosses know, just so I can tell someone! It really is hard to keep the secret, I can totally relate to you!

If we have a good us beforehand or if my mother in law gets woken up by me running for the bathroom every morning we stay with them I am hoping for the former and that I can put a copy of it in a card or in a box for them to open. I think it is still too early for us but hopefully things will look good by then.

If all goes well, I would like to tell them on Christmas BUT I'm going to try to push back for as long as possible (until I'm showing).

We will tell my mom and my sister at Christmas, if we are able to see the heartbeat on u/s before then. (I'd also like to include a picture of the u/s in a card to give them on Christmas morning.) As far as the rest of the family, we won't be telling anyone else until we are 13 weeks.

We are Jewish but we are telling MIL when we celebrate Hanukkah this weekend.

I haven't decided yet...my first appointment is not until 12/27 and I would much prefer to see the heartbeat before telling.  But, I'm not sure I can hold out that long!  It seems so far away.

We would love to tell our parents/siblings at Christmas if all goes well. I'm having early ultrasounds, so I'm hoping to see a heartbeat  and that everything is progressing well. 

Everyone else we are holding out as long as possible ( hopefully 13 weeks)

We are so torn because our first appt isn't until Jan 13th! After our history of losses, I really didn't want to tell anyone until we heard a HB but I really think Christmas is such a special time to tell our family too.  We're going to be with my MIL and SIL for Christmas. I have a feeling they will know before we leave...
