Gift ideas for a 15 yr old boy

My family is adopting a 15 yr old boy for xmas this year and I have no clue what boys are into at this age.  His wish list only has mystery books and Wii games listed with no specifics.  Does anyone have any ideas?

    It's completely snarky and unhelpful of me, but I have to give the side-eye to what I assume must be an underpriveledged kid who has a Wii?

    My only suggestions would be things like a football, basketball, skateboard and helmet.

    I normally would agree with you but this child is apart of a military program.  The program has very specific guidelines that a family has to meet before they can register their children.  And the information is verified before the child goes on their list.  I have no clue how the family got the Wii and honestly I don't mind buying for a family that does so much for our country.

    Gotcha. Can you do gift cards too? My 15 year old cousin wanted movie theater gift cards so he could buy movie tickets and refreshments.

    Maybe some new clothes or a jacket if you know sizes? A new backpack?
