If you did, how did you do it? One after the other? I tandem nurse and hate having to give LOs bottles when we go out just because I'm scared to try NIP. I just don't know how I'd hold them both without the My Brest Friend. And I'm too nervous that if I feed them seperately one will be screaming cause they are so used to eating at the same time. Any tips?
Re: Any MoMs NIP?
I only bring the babies to other people's homes, where I can nurse one at a time while someone else holds the other baby and my toddler can entertain herself, or I time my outings to be home when they need to eat. I sometimes feed them one at a time at home because they fight tandem bfing sometimes, and if I'm alone, the 2nd one has to cry a bit if she won't eat with her sister.
I don't take the twins in public too often, because they still scream a lot. They are 4 months old and getting better, but still loose cannons. I have a siiter for a few hours a week so can get out with just my toddler.
Exactly this. I did once tandem nurse sitting on a blanket on the floor of a dressing room. MoMs are constantly having to improvise
