After three weeks of MIL being here, she has gone back home. Emily didn't want a whole lot to do with her while either Mommy or Daddy was home but this morning she asked where "Nanma" was. DH was quite sad to see his mom go (and so was I) but I'm glad to have my house back!!!

John is sick AGAIN. I was called by DC on my way home last night and when we got home he had a really runny nose and a fever of 102.9, 101.7 this morning. Thanfully he never looses his apetite and still sleeps really well, but this is the third fever he's had this month. DC feels really bad too, I talked to the director and she said that all the teachers are really on top of sanitizing the toys and the room, better than any other center she's ever worked in and she said she feels really bad he keeps getting sick.
The great news is that John took his first 3 un-assisted steps on Sunday. Sadly I was working and didn't get to see them, but DH did and then on Monday he took 4 steps at DC (and they swear that was the first time), so at least one of us got to see his first steps. Monday night he did take 4 steps for me too, so that was nice. Of course he still likes to crawl and walk while holding your hand.
Rebecca is back to waking up around 4'ish for a bottle again. Hopefully, I can help DH get her back on track again. Unfortunately, DH has been doing everything lately since I've been put on bed rest. He's been amazing through all of this.

Ella is just continuing to chat up a storm; she says "What's this" to almost everything new she sees. She loves to tell you what color everything is, but about 90% of the time, its "blue"
She's started waking up in the middle of the night for no particular reason and screaming/hysterical, etc. I think its night terrors. the other week, I let her watch Dora at 1 am and last night, she came into our bed for about an hour (where no one slept) but she did go back to sleep in her own bed.
Sean is becoming a talking fool. He is obsessed with football....when it comes on TV he puts both hands up in the air and yells "buh-ball!!" He can say (and point out) ball, hi, mama, dada, kitty, moon, boot, car, apple, uh-oh, hot, boo-boo; those are just the ones off the top of my head. His verbal skills just exploded all of a sudden. Also if asked he can make the noises of a cow, sheep, doggy, owl, monkey, and pig. He loves mimicking us and DH has been teaching him funny tricks....the other day I walked downstairs and DH is like, "Watch what I taught him!" and Sean puts his thumb up and says "heeeeeeeey" (like the Fonz). lol.
ETA: a big congrats to Moonfairy and to John for walking!
After reading everyone else's update, I can't wait to see the progress our LO makes when s/he finally gets here. Baby is moving more and let's me know that s/he is still here. Movement now happens around 3:30am. At least I am getting prepared now

Seriously, I love reading your updates. He is so darn cute. I NEED to see a picture of him with his thumb up..that's awesome. It's so funny teaching them little things. DS and I always rag DH about his high school girlfriend--for no reason, we are just huge dorks. I got Ava to say the girl's name one day, it was hilarious. And of course, the more we laughed, the more she would say it.

Evie is getting close to sitting up unassisted. She can sit for short periods of time if I am sitting right there and help her find her balance before letting her go. But once she gets unbalanced she just tips right over. It's actually pretty funny. Another week or so I think she'll have it.
LJ is crawling everywhere, pulling himself up and cruising on our furniture/storage ottoman...and even standing on his own for 20-30 seconds at a time.
He now says mama, dada and bye bye...sometimes. He will wave bye bye and give you a high five. He loves watching you clap and playing patty cake, but hasn't quite figured out how to do them himself yet.
We have toys and bins on a lower shelf in our family room and he loves to pull out the bins and pull the toys off the shelf now...and he gets so mad at you if you stop him or put them away. How much longer until he can clean up?
Happy Birthday, little man. We love you so much!

It's FREE and EASY!
Dylan is pulling up on everything & starting to "walk" while holding onto something (mainly the sofa, he'll start at one & end work his was down to the other). He's also getting pretty good at switching from 1 piece of furniture to another or from holding one of us to grabbing a piece of furniture. He's also learning how to fall on his butt (use to just fall back like a chopped down tree!) & how to lower himself to the ground. He does get "stuck" sometimes which makes him mad; i.e. he'll pull up on the side of the pnp (we have it set up as a wall in the living room) but not be able to lower himself down because of the flexible sides so he just cries.
I wish I had scanned in a picture but we took D' to see Santa at White Marsh Mall yesterday! He did so good!! Santa's beard was very fasinating (no one in our fam has a beard) but he did look at the camera for a few pics & we choose the one that looked the most like a smile instead of a look of surprise & confussion.
Thank you! Chloe Victoria was born via repeat c-section on Tuesday, November 23 weighing 8 lbs 10.4 oz. She lost a little too much weight in the hospital, so I had to feed her ALL the time in the hospital, BFing and then purmping and finger-feeding. At her one week appt she was back up over 8 lbs, so the dr is happy.
We are both now doing well, and London has been adjustng very well to our new addition. She always wants to kiss the baby, and it's sooo cute. Once DH uploads some pics of Chloe, I will post.
Um my child is 9 months today. I am seriously shocked. She had her third tooth break through when we were in NJ for the long weekend....not so fun times. She is beginning to cruise, she claps and can wave, and is working on blowing kisses...lol. Oh and she says Dada all.the.time.
