i just read your post about security during delivery and wasn't sure that you'd check back there.  i am a medical social worker and deal with a lot of the paperwork that folks were mentioning in your post.  i just wanted to share that although things vary from state to state, in my opinion there was a lot of misinformation in that post.  i would highly recommend you contact the hospital and share your story with them and see what they recommend.  they will be the best folks to advocate on your behalf and help you understand what documents you should have in place to protect you, DH and baby.
