My baby making shopping spree!

Had myself a little AF retail therapy today & stocked up for a cozy December of baby making!

I got:

Couple bottles of Trader Joes Pomegranate Juice (man, that stuff is expensive & full of sugar)

Basal Thermometer

Preseed

I need to order some OPKs soon but I held off on the TCOYF book!  I thumbed through it in Borders & while it seems excellent, I just couldn't afford another $25.  I think I will do fine from Fertility Friend site & you knowlegeable ladies on the board!

So I am feeling well pleased with my haul & very proactive indeed!

    Order TCOYF from the library. I didn't end up buying my copy. I just photocopied what was useful out of the book. I figured I don't want to be out 25$ if we get pregnant a couple cycles in.

    Good call.  I just hopped on fredericks.com. 25% off holiday themed and free shipping over $25 if anyone's interested.  (I haven't shopped there yet- hoping they run true to size)

    Fun! I love TTC shopping sprees! Makes me feel very productive!

    I will say though, TCOYF is an EXCELLENT book to have even if you do get KU within a few cycles. The amount of info you learn about your body and your cycles is so invaluable, and I will definitely be referring to it a lot AFTER we have our first child, since we're planning on using the FAM method for birth control after our first. Plus I have a feeling I'll be lending my book around, but I just really appreciate having a book like that handy Smile

    Thanks for this!  I think I am either going to borrow it from the library or I might find it cheap on ebay or amazon!

    i got my copy of TCOYF on ebay for like $5 plus like $3 shipping.. you can always buy books for cheap online!!Smile
