Charting? Its like a whole other language.....I get how to test your BBT and how to track that....is that basically the same thing? I just joined the TTC club last Friday....

I'll have to look for that book. I bought What to expect before you're expecting because I also wanted some info on a good pre-prego diet and anything else I could possibly know I wanted to know. In the book she mentions how to take your BBT and there is a chart in there. is that all you really do is just take your temperature and graph it? Seems like 4th grade math is coming back to bite me in the butt. I also read about "reading your CM" that almost seems a little easier, but like I said...I just got off the pill so I don't know how honest my body is being. I guess I can only assume that I'm back on track and make DH put in his time and hope for the best. I may start charting tomorrow just to have that extra advantage.

If you sign up for Fertility Friend through any of our tickers (its free) it is very helpful with plugging in your temps and charting them for you. If you do the tutorials they are very helpful as well. After a few weeks you really start to get the hang of it and it becomes second nature to some and most of us obsess over our charts. Also I bought and read the same book you got, but I also got and read Taking Charge of Your Fertility that everyone on here recommends and it was AWESOME! And had so much more than the other book. Keeping track of your CM is easy as well, but temps are the way to confirm you ovulated.

It seems a little overwhelming at first, but it's really not. It's very helpful, especially if you sign up for FF. The tutorials will tell you everything you need to go.
