I know we have talked about this but I cannot find it. Although I have had a ridiculous amount of dr's treat me in the past month, no one has told me not to have sex. When they discharged me after my c-section the just said take it easy and dont take a bath until my scar looks closed. Is it 6 weeks or later because of c-section or earlier?

Mine said nothing in the vagina, tampons included, for 6 weeks.

No sex for at least 6w (I think we did around 5w).  Mostly, your uterus needs time to heal and all.  C/S or not, everything from the boobs to the thighs has really been abused over the past 9m.

the fact that you are even considering it amazes me We didn't have sex for 4 months after DS1 was born b/c i had a horrible 4th degree tear... and it was 4 months after the twins - b/c we were both so damn tired

but yea- wait until you get the OK at your 6w follow up appt for sure.

Goldie, I'm with caitdana on this one, already wondering when the hell I'll be able to have sex! I've been deprived for 5 months and I have the most vivid dreams ever and I wake up wanting to %$#&  wall!! I am dying over here and on top of it gotta add an additional 6 weeks AFTER my boys are born! lol

Same question over here.  I was told nothing until 6 wk.  Hopefully I get clearance at my appt next wk.  I had a csction.

but we could only hold out four  we hadn't done it in almost a YEAR! mama needed her lovin.

Yall make me laugh! I was so miserable towards the end and with our constant scares so it has been a long time. I am finally able to eat, sleep, and poo normal again so I feel amazing. Plus since I dont have 2 babies at home to constantly care for I think that has given me an extra boost to get well soon.
