Quick, impatient question

So for those of you who had a blood test to confirm pregnancy, how long did it take them to call you back with the results? I'm very annoyed. Probably because DH really doesn't want to get too excited until he hears the results...*tap tap tap- foot on floor*

i had my blood work the tuesday before thanksgiving and called the next day but no one called me back.  I called again on Friday and they confirmed i was pregnant.  They had the results on Wednesday though.  I received a letter in the mail yesterday with the HCG level ....i think it was just a formal response.

I ended up not b/c my first appointment is so soon b/c when I called last Wednesday they said it would take 2-3 days normally (not incl. the holiday) b/c I had to go to a lab and my first appointment was in 2 weeks.  (Plus I figured 5 BFPs wasn't a lie)

I was told to call my RE's office 2 hours after my blood was drawn at the lab. Not sure if this is usual in an OB office.

Mine was done on Tuesday afternoon (11/23) and I got the results on Wednesday afternoon (11/24). The wait was torture.

Our RE does all b/w in the morning and calls between 2-4 with results.  They called at 1:45 last Wednesday and 12:30 last Friday, though...

I had 2nd beta Monday, got the results today.

Hey C! I had my Betas drawn this morning & if I don't hear back by later this afternoon I am calling. At my clinic I know it doesn't take that long for the results to come back so I am not waiting for the run-around. Especially since I work there & deal with the lab all the time.

I had them done at my RE's office Monday morning, and they called 2.5 hours later, as promised.  I'm going for another blood test tomorrow and expect the same thing. I know RE's work closely with their patients, and I've gotten results only a few hours after every time I had bloodwork done there.

I am just being a pain, I know. I shouldn't have let the nurse yesterday get my hopes up by telling me they know within 24 hours... because that was at 8:30 a.m. yesterday! If I don't hear by lunchtime tomorrow, I will call.

I had bloodwork on a Friday and was called back on a Monday. I had another test on Monday and the results by Tuesday. They generally have a 1 day turnaround. I hope you get yours soon!
