Unfortunately, the HSG was a bust and I didn't even get it done today. I was scheduled to be there at 7:30am this morning...we got there, I got registered, got undressed and was sitting on the table when the nurse told me that my OBGYN had "accidentally" scheduled a C-section for the exact same time.
So then I got re-dressed, H and I went to kill some time by getting breakfast, and we were told to come back at 9:30am.
We came back at 9:30, got undressed again, sat on the table ready to go, just waiting on the doctor. ONE HOUR later and she's still not there so the nurse calls her and she says "Oh I'll be right there!" 30 minutes after that, at 11am, we just decided to cancel it and walked out.
Needless to say, I am so freaking LIVID with this doctor that she would be so disrespectful. And now we can't even reschedule it because any later would be way too close to my normal ovulation day (cd14).
We're moving to a different state during the month of December so it looks like the HSG is postponed indefinitely until we get settled there and find a new doctor. ![]()
Thanks for all your good vibes though! Yall are the best!

I am crossing everything but my legs that you get KU before you can find a new doctor and schedule the HSG. GL with your move.

That is absolutely horrible. Shame on her for treating you like that. I hope when you move, you can find a new doctor that actually values his/her patient's time.
Sorry you had to deal with that.
Its proof that doctor was no good. You will have better luck with a different doctor. I would have been heated.
I am sorry you had to go through that. If you lived closer I would say lets grab a drink! What state are you moving to?

LOL thanks, Kim. The more I think about it the more pissed I get too. And it's not just an isolated incident either, because the last time I had an appt I had to wait 2.5 hours as well.
I understand that she has to deliver babies and babies are unpredictable, but scheduling a c-section for the same time as my appointment is unacceptable. Then, when you've already made me wait forever, to not even care enough to call or show up is ridiculous. And why would you say "Oh I'll be right there!" and then still not show up for at least an hour??
The worst part is that this is my last week at my job so I feel like I completely wasted 4 valuable hours that I could have been at work tying up loose ends and such. Oh AND we have now been abstaining for no freaking reason! Grrr. I'm just so angry.
And yes, I definitely felt bad for the nurse since she had to be the bearer of bad news. She actually encouraged us when we decided to walk out and apologized profusely.
P.S. I can't remember if I responded in your BFP thread or not, so just in case: CONGRATS!!!!!!! I'm ridiculously excited for you and praying that this pregnancy is happy and healthy!

Oh no, I am so sorry Saucy. I cannot believe that doctor. How incredibly unprofessional. I would be so livid, I think you should definitely put your complaint in writing, especially if the doctor works as part of a multiple doctor practice. They need to know how you were mishandled.
I hope you settle in quickly in your new home and find a better doctor very soon!
Thanks, siren! I would love to grab a drink with you, if it were plausible! We're moving to middle-of-nowhere Arizona.

Oh my goodness. I'd be so pissed. I can't understand a Dr. being that way. And there was no one else who could sub for her? I had an u/s tech do mine, and I thought that was the norm. I wonder why the Dr. didn't just have someone else take over when she realized her conflict. I guess be glad she didn't do it and end up hurting you, since she is so absent minded!
I'm so sorry, and I hope you don't need the HSG at all. You're getting a BFP for Christmas! Positive thoughts

I would be livid as well. I am so very sorry that happened. The doctor would for sure be getting an earful as well as a very negative review on any website I could find to review her on.
I'm so sorry. I hope you get your BFP before you get settled and have to find a new OB. ((BIG HUGS))
ugh!!! I would be furious! I say you write a strongly worded letter to the office. I can understand emergencies happen, but that was just completely rude and unprofessional of her.
Good luck with the move, and hopefully you'll be able to find a fabulous new doctor soon!
