Babies: 6 - 9 Months

how long between bottles for your 7 month old?

DD goes about 3 hours. I'm thinking we might need to spread them out a little more....

  • LO eats about every 3.5-4 hours, sometimes longer.

  • Usually every 3 to 4 hours max.  If she is at home nursing off me it is usually the low end of that time period.

  • I alternate meals and bottles. She gets either a solid meal or a bottle feeding every 2.5-3 hours. I don't think she could go much longer than that, she's always hungry!
  • DD gets a bottle at 6, 10, 2 and 6:30 or 7ish. She has Breakfast at 7:00. Lunch at 11, Dinner at 4:30 5ish and the odd snack in between. I feel like all I do is feed her lol.
  • DD isn't 7 mo yet but she eats every three hrs.  I thought I read it will stay every 3-4 hrs depending on your baby up through 12 mo.  DD seems to go 3.5 hrs when she's had her solids between bottles.

  • We're doing solids every meal time and he just learned how to use his sippy cup by himself. He typically has one mid-morning or mid-afternoon and one at bedtime.
  • DD is a week shy of 7months and breastfed, but she doesn't really go longer than 2 or 2.5 hours (when awake) between feedings.  (At the moment, it's not longer than about 4 or 5 hours at night. :/ )  She ends up eating about 7 times a day, plus or minus one.
