Minnesota Babies

I need daycare in the north suburbs!

So, in case you missed my post on The Nest this morning, my husband got a job! He's been laid off for 16 months and today we got the call!

We're thinking that in order for me to have 2-3 good and full work days per week, we'll need daycare for those days. (Our 21 month old is SO high maintenance, I can't work when trying to watch him).

Any recs for the north 'burbs? Like Crapids, Blaine, Anoka, Andover? DH's job will be in St Paul and I tend to either work out of the home or in Minneapolis at coffee shops, so I think near home would be best.

Thanks!

  • Try Sunrise Christian Daycare in Moundsview. They are under ratio in the classrooms and the teachers are awesome! They also have part time openings once the kids are out of the infant room

You could also call Cheri Burkum in New Brighton to check on in home care. 651-636-3297

Hello,I am lurking as FI & I are going to TTC for baby #2 right after our wedding (in 3 months)

Anyhow my FMIL does daycare for our son plus another family (very few children so lots of individual attention) and she's licensed and she is in Fridley just north of 694.  If that is somewhere that isn't too far, I can ask her if she's interested in taking in another child.  She doesn't charge very much because she honestly does it for the enjoyment - she loves kids!!   email me at my username at yahoo dot com if you're interested.
