11. Are you going to use pacifiers?I'm not sure yet...
3. What are you most looking forward to about not being pregnant?
At this point, it's pretty much a toss-up between a glass of wine, some spiked egg nog and some warm chocolate chip cookies. I plan to have all three ASAP after delivery!
4. What is/was your biggest L&D fear/concern?
Honestly, I feel pretty damn prepared... but I think my #1 concern is that I will have underestimated the pain and won't be able to push myself through it naturally, or that something will go wrong and I'll need a c-section. But, although I'm not thrilled about either possibility, I will be okay if they come to pass.
5. What features (physical) do you hope LO gets from you?
My eyes. I love DH, but deep-set eyes run in his family, and while that's attractive on a man... well, let's just say I hope she gets my eyes.
6. What features (physical) do you hope your LO gets from DH/SO?
His cute bum!
7. What is your favorite gift that you have received for baby?
My mom gave me a pair of booties that my grandmother crocheted for her (my mom's) first grandchild. Such a special gift, considering my grandmother passed away almost 10 years ago.
8. What item have you received/bought that is the most frivolous?
A crocheted bottle cover. Not made by the person who gave it to me. I can't imagine that's actually a useful thing to have...
9. What brand of bottles will you use?
I've bought a few different kinds (Born Free, Green to Grow, Green Sprouts) and we'll figure out what LO likes best and buy more of those.
10. Do you have a boppy or a my brest friend (or neither)?
Both, actually. I got them both as gifts, and I'll see what works and donate the other. Of course, the Boppy is good for stuff other than feeding, so I'll probably end up keeping it regardless.

oh, I dunno... creating life?!

the physical exhaustion

getting skinny again (hopefully)

I spent 60 on the diaper bag I wanted, when somebody had already given me a vera one for free...

eventually, yes. but not for long.
12. What's your opinion (if you have one) on the book "Babywise"?
all I know is the boy I nanny for.. his mom went by that book to the T and he was the BEST baby I have ever, ever been around. there is something to be said for it, but I don't think it's really my style.

No opinion. I've heard of it, but I haven't read it and don't know what it's all about.
1. What has been the best thing about your pregnancy?
I really didn't gain a whole lot of weight. I have struggled to keep my weight under control most of my life and I kind of gave myself a pass while pregnant to eat some things I might not have before. And I still have only gained 23 lbs. I'm pretty happy with that.
