is this the start of labor? maybe TMI

I hurt all over.  My back is killing me, stomach is so tight, and my vag is sore.  I took off work today, bc I didn't want to get caught going into labor in front of my students. 

Had some front contractions last night, but none that seemed regular.  Anyone know if this is the beginning of labor?  Is this happening to anyone else?

It could be, but at the same time, this has been happening to me almost every night for over 2 weeks now. Not trying to burst your bubble, I hope it is labor for you, but there's really no way of knowing until your water breaks, or your contractions are at the 5-1-1 stage.

Ugh, I've felt that way off and on for the past two weeks.  Couldn't sleep last night because I was having contractions (no regular ones though) and awful back pain.  This kind of thing can go on for a loooong time. But sending labor dust your way!

I feel this way lately whenever I am awake. Once I go to bed I sleep fine and have no aches or pains. Then the second I wake up the icky feelings are back. I sure hope it is starting something. Good luck!

 Ditto.... and of course I've been dilated to a 4 for a week and 90% effaced.  Doesn't mean jack imho   BUT good luck to you!!!! I hope it means it's almost time!
