Unpleasant check up

Recently went to my 38 WK appointment.  1CM dilated, not quite effaced....and boy was that an uncomfortable check up!!!!  I think she may have made me 2CM dilated, by the time we were done.  Not sure what I was expecting, but it felt horrible!!  I left in fear of what would soon be coming out that same spot!!!

    I hear ya, I'm still cramping from when I got checked this morning and I was only a "fingertip" dilated.  Not particularly looking forward to the weekly internals.

    You better be glad your not having twins.  I've been having lovely internals since 20 weeks!  They are getting worse and worse as the weeks go by.

    I must be lucky and my Doctor has "sweet fingers" because I'm not uncomfortable at all when he does them and I barely remember that he put his fingers in my vag.

    Sorry they are so uncomfortable for you guys. Does your doc at least lube up their fingers?
