stripping

Hello all,

 I need to strip my diapers, and am wondering if you have certain steps or resources you would recommend.  I was recently told to use bleach, but in the past I have read not to use bleach on cloth.  I have stripped diapers before, but now I'm wondering if it was not done correctly?  Thanks in advance!

I did a long hot wash with a squirt of original blue dawn then rinsed until all suds were gone.  It took like 5-6 rinses, but we have pretty hard water so there was a lot of detergent buildup.

Make sure it is the original dawn though.
