Girl name suggestions?

I've never posted here before, so hopefully no one is rolling eyes at the obvious question :)

Anyway, we have two boys, Jack and Ethan, and #3 is a girl.  I had a boy name all ready to go (even though I kinda thought we were having a girl, boy names have been easy for us!), but now need to switch gears and think of a girl name.  FWIW, we were going to use Ryan if it was a boy.  I did see the post below about "Ryan for a girl?" which several people IRL have suggested to me...but having two boys already, I think we would prefer a really "girly" name :)

I would like to use "Anne" as a middle name, since it was my middle name before I got married, and is my mom's name.  So then that makes me lean toward wanting a longer first name.

Any suggestions??  FWIW, I have liked names like Caroline, Charlotte, Elizabeth, and Olivia, but none of them is perfect for us for various reasons (DH's ex-girlfriend, or other recent babies named that in our circle, etc), but I want something fairly classic and girly.  Would love suggestions!

Oh, I do like "Hayley" but it's borderline not long enough for my taste with Anne....

Re: Girl name suggestions?

  • I love Charlotte, out of the names you listed. It sounds lovely with Anne, and I think it works really well with Jack and Ethan, too.

  • I agree w/ the PP, I love Charlotte.  My OB's daughter is a Charlotte and DH doesn't want to seem like we're being copy cats, so he nixed it.

  • The first name I thought of was Annabelle- but then you couldn't use Anne as a middle name, though you'd be getting it a little in the first name.  I also like Hannah, but again, you couldn't really use Anne.  I'm not being much help, am I?!

    I also really love Charlotte.
