Membranes Stripped

I had my membranes stripped today and found out that I am 3cm and 80% effaced.  I feel soooo crampy now!!    I can't even tell when I'm having contractions because my uterus constantly feels hard.  

Did any moms with outside babies have their membranes stripped/swept?  How long afterward did you go into labor??

Uuuugh, that was so much worse! I've never had gas pains like that before.

Yuck, cramping and contractions and cramping while waiting for contractions is no fun.  For your sake, I hope it comes fast and easy!

I had my membrains stripped at my 37 week appointment with DS#1 and I had him 38 week 3 Days.  Baby wont come till your body is ready, so lets hope that your body is more ready than mine was!  GL

I know a lot of girls who had their membranes swept multiple times with no luck. Mine were only done to break my waters while in labour, so it's a different situation...

My sister had hers swept at 38 weeks, and she went into labor that night. My co-worker had hers swept at 39 weeks and went into labor 4 hours later.
