Belly button pops out when I cough?

Has anyone else noticed that their belly button pops out when they cough? I have a sinus infection and it's making me cough a lot and I just noticed this today. I know that the belly button popping out in pregnancy is pretty normal, but mine is only when I cough. It doesn't hurt, but I'm wondering if it could be an umbilical hernia. Anyone else experienced this?

    My belly button is pretty much popped out but when I laugh or cough it pops out even more. It cracks me up and looks hilarious.

    Haha, yea. I think it creeps H out. Mine is pretty much out all of the time, but it pops a little extra with the added pressure of laughing.

    He had his hand on my belly recently and I started to giggle. He was like 'Whoa! Something happens when you laughed and it was weird'.

    If your belly button hasn't popped out permanently it's probably very close to the top so when you cough or laugh it'll do that. I don't know anyone who's belly button popped out even though it's pretty common, and we all had this happen when we laughed or coughed.
