My first two DDs had reacations to all disposible diaper brands except Huggies Supreme. My second DD and I both have excezema and she has highly sensitive skin. We both have allergies as well. So naturally I want to avoid disposibles all together.
Does an one have children with sensitive skin or reactions to everything and uses a special CD brand?
THANK YOU!
Re: CD suggestions
The daughter of one of my friends also had eczema, and had serious reactions to all different kinds of disposable diapers. She switched to cloth and her daughter's eczema got SO much better. No need for any sort of "special" CD brand.
But you might have to experiment a little bit... I've seen some moms say that natural fibers (cotton, bamboo, hemp) are better for their babies with sensitive skin, since they have fewer chemicals than synthetic materials and are naturally antibacterial. Others say that their sensitive babies can't handle the wetness from natural fibers, so they use stay-dry synthetic materials (fleece, etc.). Luckily, there are lots of different fabric options out there, so if one thing doesn't work, try something else!
