how many diaper covers for NB stage?

I bought 4 thirsties duo wraps - size 1. and registered for 2 more of those and 2 of the bummis super whisper wrap covers. 

I am planning on getting the newborn rental from top to bottom of 24 kissaluvs.

do you think that is enough covers? and enough kissaluvs or should I plan on getting some more of each?? TIA!

I have 4 bummis super brites and really could get away with 3.  I have 3 thirsties duo covers sz 1 w/snaps that I just started to use but I struggle to get a good fit with the snaps so they're not my favorite yet.  I guess my answer is 3 for NB stage.

we took a class (since our little guy isn't here yet) and they said figure on changing anywhere from 10-12x per day in the beginning. We bought 36 prefolds and have 6 covers. I did buy some pockets and AIOs for when he's a little bigger 10-12 lbs or so, so we can have some variety.  When we were doing the math we figured we'd be doing the diaper laundry about every other day or so.

I think I'll end up with 7 covers, which I think is too many, but several are included in different packages I'm purchasing (on top of my pockets and AIOs).

With dd, I had 4 covers, but really could have gotten by with 3. I had 30 diapers for the newborn stage, so I only had to do laundry every other day.

4-5 is plenty.  24 KL0s should be good.
