have my BC.

very happy.  got my IUD today.  No more kids for us, but I did not want a tubal during my c-section.  nice to know I really do not have to worry about BC and take a pill every day.  That I may forget..  phew.

not too bad, some cramping during insertion, and am having some medium spotting now.  but no cramping.  excited about not taking a pill every day for the rest of my life!

    Did you get Mirena or Paragard?

    mirena.  I have heavy cramping during my period.   I needed something with hormones in it to control it.  Mirena was my best choice because I wanted something long term, but not permanent.  And I did not want to take a pill every day.  After my son, I forgot all the time.  I am surprised I did not get pregnant by accident.

    Thanks. Just wondering.  I'm leaning towards the paragard, but it seems like more people get the mirena.
