RSV / Synagis question

My DD will have a home nurse give the Synagis shot.  The meds will be delivered to our home but before that happens I have to call the supplier with her current weight.  Is that fairly normal?

    We go into the doctor's office.  We get a weight and then the shot, so that sounds right.

    Ours get sent to the hospital DD's were born at. We had our first one on the 8th. went in did a weight check and got the shot.

    Yes.  The dose is based on weight so they need to know how much she weighs to give her the right amount.
