Shoe sizing

How do you know when to move up a size?  I *think* DS is outgrowing his shoes, but can't really tell.

I would feel for where his toes are. If they are right up against the front of the shoe, they are too small. I knew my DS had outgrown his shoes because he was crying and pulling at his feet when he walked in his shoes. You can also take your DS to a shoe store and have him sized.
