Bonavita furniture

I was wondering if any of you girls have purchased the Bonavita metro furniture in black.  We ordered and picked it up yesterday and the color seems off to me.  It looks more wood tone then black.  Did anyone else have this problem.  I don't know if I should call the company to have someone come and look at it.  I am due in 4 wks so re-ordering seems crazy to me.

    We have the metro in chocolate. I think they call the darker color "licorice". I actually wish I had gotten that darker color, but what can you do? The sample in the store I was at was licorice and it was definitely a very dark wood - not black. HTH - GL!

    Thank you so much for your reply.  It put my mind at ease.  They don't have the black on the floor anymore and I ordered it so long ago that I don't really remember.

    We ordered the Bonvita Hudson collection in Licorice and it definitely is a dark wood undertone, not black.  I wish it were more black but we still are happy with it.
