My BFF is pregnant!!!

I know most people probably won't care, but I have to keep this a secret from everyone I know, and I figured no one on here would go telling my family or friends...

...but my best friend for the past 20 years just told me yesterday she is expecting her second child!!!  We've ALWAYS talked about being pregnant together while we were growing up, well we are and I didn't even know it till yesterday!  She lives over an hour away from me and was out visiting family and stopped by my house to see my pregnant "one last time"  She and I are up in Rocco's room (as I proudly show her the nursery) and she says, "I should have planned better than kids in different seasons" (talking about hand me down clothes) and I just was completely oblivious and start talking about something else, and she goes "yeah one in december and one in July, you can't really share baby clothes" again I was clueless...but the third attempt at hinting to me, I caught on!!!  lol  She is only 8 1/2 weeks right now and is going to tell everyone at her daughters birthday party next weekend, but since I wasn't going to be able to make that she wanted to make sure I knew!

I'm so excited!!!!! Our LO's are going to be so close in age, taht I'm sure they'll be best friends just like the mom's :-D

That's really exciting for you guys!!! My sister is pregnant too (only 5 weeks behind me) and it's been a lot of fun going through it together. Yay for close babies!!

I know how exciting that is. My BFF was pregnant with her 1st until she delivered on 10/21. It was awesome because her EDD was 11/03, & mine is 12/03, so we got to be really pregnant with each other! I already have a 3 & a half year old, but it was still exciting, & I can't wait until this little booger finally decides to come out so we can raise our LOs together!

That's so exciting!  It will be fun for you to have LOs about the same age.  I have some good friends with kids, but none of my long time girlfriends who I grew up with.  There is a group of 5 of us who have stayed close since high school but I am the only one who is married, so kids are a ways off for all the rest of them.  I'm hoping to make some new mommy friends once LO is here, although of course it is not the same as if it is a friend I'm already close with.

THanks!  I've been a little MIA for awhile bc of family health issues and work earlier in the month, and then the hospital thing last week, but now I'm officially on mat leave and semi bed rest, so I'll be posting more :-D  But all is well here for now.  Just waiting on some results from Wednesday and hoping that Rocco wants to come join the outside babies this week!

Aww, see I think that's fun!  I went through this pregnancy with a friend due a month before me, and it was fun! 

The close in age after thing is really cool too!    Exciting!
