Is my mind playing tricks on me?

So TTC but my cycle has been very deceiving that last year. By that I mean that I have been like clock work with my cycles but twice not consecutively where I was late 5 days the first time and 2 weeks late the second time. I mean I have always been irregular with my Cycles but like I said for the last year there some sort of consistency is it maybe that I want TC so bad that I somehow delay my own period? Am I going nuts? Help anyone please!
