Since coming off of birth control I have gained some weight! I want to lose some weight before getting pregnant but cant seem to lose any! We do not have a gym close by and that kinda makes it hard to work out! I take the dog for walks and eat pretty good! Does anyone have any ideas or advice that worked for you?

I use EA active on my Wii to supplement my walking dogs and sometimes for some extra different cardio!
Thank you so much for the help! I am not big on working out either but I know that I need to in order to lose some weight! I don't need to lose a dramatic amount of weight but I do need to "tone".
What is involved with weight watchers?
The main thing with WW is "tracking" or writing down everything you eat. They have a points system where you get a certain number of points each day and each food is worth a certain number of points.
They actually just did a big overhaul of the points system, so this is a pretty good time to join. Even longtime members are getting new info this week, so everyone's kind of a newbie at the moment.
I second quietvoice on the WW suggestion. I lost 60 lbs with them a few years back, and ended up working for them for a couple years. I stopped going when I stopped working, and I've gained about 15 back

I can't wait to see the new plan - have you seen it yet, Quiet? All I know is that fruit is supposedly free (points-wise) now! I was psyched to see that

I got all the new stuff at my meeting yesterday. Yes, all fresh fruit is zero points now, and you calculate points using fat, fiber, carbs, and protein now. So, most things' values are a little higher, but the daily points targets are also higher. Honestly, I now get 29 pts per day (I used to get 23 on the old plan) and I may have a hard time eating 29 points.... we'll see!
Wow...they really did overhaul it! I've gone through so many plan changes in the past 5 years, but I wasn't expecting this.
The carbs thing is gonna get me, I know it...I spend WAY too many points on carbs.

DX: severe MFI (low all 3) and low T. Undergoing replacement therapy.
DH and I did the Couch to 5K program, it was fantastic and running is an awesome workout (I despised running before this program).
I also have Jillian Michael's 30 Day Shred, she kicks my butt every time.
it is so nice to have women on here who are going through the same thing! I think that coming off of BC has something to do with it! I need to step up the game and start exercising more! Since its cold now, I will have to use our WII system! Ill look into websites and WW online programs!
