DH and I have had Elisabeth Abigail chosen for a long time (anatomy scan is Thursday and we hope to find out the gender if he/she feels like sharing!) The other night, DH asked if we could add his grandmother's name to this - her name is Grace. So, is "Elisabeth Abigail Grace _____" (two syllable last name) too much? Does it flow?
Our potential boy name is made up of 3 names, so I have no issue with using 2 middle names. I'm thinking that it would be too much if it wasn't a family name and if it wasn't a short name like Grace. Thanks!
Re: Opinions on this name please?
Thanks! We love the spelling, too. Our last name starts with "S" and I think it looks nicer together this way.
I'm having a hard time saying no to this because DH's grandmother is very sick right now and we don't expect her to live much longer. I'm not very close to her (she lives really far away) but I know DH has been hit hard by the news of her sickness, so that's why he's suddenly wanting to use her name. I'm not going to deny him that because I understand how important it is for him to honour her (DD is named for MY Grandma)

I think it sounds fine.
