I have been told by people "if you stop thinking about it it will happen". I have been told this so many times already that it kinda irritates me. I have tried to focus on other stuff but I still have baby on the brain. We have been ttc since May and we are now going on month 8 of ttc. Does anyone have advice on trying to not think about ttc and getting pregnant?
Re: trying to not think about babymaking
Don't hang around a baby board?
Or get a hobby? Go out with friends? Go shopping? Get a part-time job?
ETA: Not that it matters, but May-November is 6 months...not 8.
I have no advice for not thinking about it- but for dealing with the other people I do! Don't tell them anything anymore! I have co workers at work that want to know every detail and every plan we have, and one that just tells me "quit worrying about it", "you're worring too much!" Heck no I'm not! I'm not worried about anything yet! I enjoy thinking about being preg and holding my baby(ies)...I just know I can't tell that woman anything lol
Good luck and have fun planning and thinking and daydreaming!
I was about to say the same thing.
